My New Learning This Term.

This term we have been learning about the Aboriginal people in
Australia. We made paintings and stories and pictures .
Mrs Mc showed us videos and told us stories. One time she showed us
a napkin- it was really cool. I have learned a lot about Australian Aboriginals.

  1. I am glad that you are learning about Australian Aboriginals. Another word you can use when talking about Aboriginal people is Anangu (ah-na-noo). The people who live near Uluru are called Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara - that is pretty tough to say though!
If you visit our blog you will see a link to Mimili a community in the Pitjantjatjara Lands. I hope you enjoy learning more about these very special people.

  2. In my country the "Aboriginals" are called American Indians. We don't spend much time in class learning about their culture or customs except where it effect the white history of our country. There are university classes on them, though.
