Australian Aboriginals

Our class is learning about the Australian Aboriginals. We have learnt a lot about them. We are also learning about people who live by Uluru. The people who live by Uluru eat a type of food called bush tucker. They suck the nectar from honey grevillea flowers. They eat honey ants. The children like to play in the sand. They like to explore the rocks.

Wow! You have learnt alot the Australian Aboriginals. I can believe they eat food called bush tucker. What food in New Zealand would be the same as bush tucker ... fish and chips?? and do the honey ants really taste like honey? Please tell me when you find out. I look forward to learning some more about the Australian Aboriginals.

hello room 6, you are doing a lot of interesting work on the Australian Aboriginal people. Have you done any artwork yet? The Aboriginal art work uses lots of dots and tells many of the dream-time stories that you have been learning about. I'm sure you will do some and share the pictures on line.
Well done from Mrs Driver @pakurangaheights
