Hi, I am Ellie and today I am going to convince you that iPads and iPods are allowed at school. Although that doesn't sound very school like and educational I am going to convince you!
Firstly iPod touches and iPads can be very educational because you can download educational games. There are a variety of learning games in the app store. Many are free. Kids enjoy iPods and iPads so kids would love it. iPods have educational songs so you can learn lots.
iPods and iPads can be very handy because if the teacher needs the children to do something on the mat the children could do it on their iPad. iPads are very useful and popular so we kids would enjoy it.
Having iPods and iPads at school is wonderful because children like me, can learn more about technology. iPods and iPads can be spontaneously fun, funnily enough. Kids love swiping and touching iPads so kids can be extra nice to the teachers if the teachers say that if you are naughty you can't go on your iPod/iPad. Teaching can be very easy.
On a wet day iPods/iPads can be breathtakingly fun.On a wet day you can't go outside so iPods/iPads are awesome!!!!!!!!!!!! Great entertaainment!
Why sit and play a boardgame when you could be playing the latest game on your iPad? Why listen to someone reading when you could be listening to a famous actor reading it? Why take technology lessons when you could be playing a game? We are modern now, so act modern?

The School Gala
It was the school gala and everything there was awesome. There was a SKOF slide, a teacup ride and a pirate ship ride. There was also a haunted house which was extremely scary, laughing clowns, and mini Jeeps were there (little cars) and water walkers. Everything was so cool. I went on the teacups, haunted house twice and I went on the SKOF slide. There were some stalls as well. There were stalls that sell drinks, books, ethnic foods, burgers, cupcakes, cakes, donuts and lots more. My mum was a volunteer and she helped with the Pineapple Thai beef curry which is part of the ethnic foods. Some of my friends were there. Ye Xin was there, Kayla was there, Jueun was there. There were a lot of performances. The Performance.net was there and they did a dance. Cheerleaders were there and did a cheerleader cheer and our school kapahaka did kapahaka. The school gala was so much fun that is why I want another one.

Show not Tell
As I walked onto the stage I started to twirl and twirl. I had a smile on my face. I leaped and spun and the audience cheered. It felt great. I walked of the stage. I watched some of the other dancers dance while I was sitting on a chair. The other dancers ended it with a bow. It was so fun watching the other dancers dance. Then it was my turn to go back on stage. I spun around and jumped and landed in first. This is so fun I thought. I went off the stage. It was the end of the show and I went home. It was a really fun day. At home I danced more. It was one of the best days of my life.
